As a company that is both strategic and fundamental for the economic development of Italy, we are aware of our responsibilities in terms of environmental sustainability.
We must achieve a balance between economic growth, social inclusion and environmental safeguarding. This is why we have adopted some of the 17 goals of the UN 2030 Agenda, which we apply on a case by case basis, thanks to specific projects included in our Sustainability Report.
We have developed a deep relationship with the local area and carry out activities to support healthcare, such as for example, the creation of a Covid-19 Vaccine Hub in collaboration with the local “Croce Verde”.
We also support local sports activities for young people - ranging from football to volleyball - as well as cultural activities with educational and work experience programs with the high schools Istituto Primo Levi in Borgo Fornari and Istituto Abba Gastaldi in Genova. We actively collaborate with the Departments of Chemistry and Engineering at the University of Genova with whom we develop research projects and training opportunities.
